K2, the second highest mountain in the world,at 8,611 meters, is considered the most difficult summit above 8,000 meters. Climbed for the first time by Lino Lacedelli and Achille Compagnoni on 31 July 1954 with the Italian expedition of the Italian Alpine Club, K2 remains an extraordinary mountain, beautiful and difficult, whose ascent is intended only for experienced and determined mountaineers. Sharing the name K2 is a constant incentive for us to climb higher! Our History
Our company was founded in 1979 thanks to a group of entrepreneurs (including the founding members of Konig) with the mission of becoming one of the most important snow chain distribution centers in Europe. Today K2 is an independent company. Over the years, the quality of our service and the assortment of the brands we offer, including Konig, Spikes-Spider, G3, Peruzzo and Thule always on stock in our warehouses, have been the key to our success. At K2 you will find products from snow chains for cars to those for trucks or special vehicles to G3, Peruzzo and Thule (roof boxes, roof bars, bicycle carriers) carrying systems. Our specialized staff can help you choose the product that best suits your needs. In addition to snow chains, K2 also handles motorcycle and bicycle anti-theft with a complete and reliable assortment (including the new line of anti-theft chains with sleeves customized with your logo).
